29 Mar We are Whitley podcast (episode 1)
Whitley Academy Post 16 students have been busy recording a series of podcasts aimed at sharing their experiences and aspirations with our younger pupils. You can listen to their first episode below.
We have received notification from Severn Trent that their contractors will be carrying out maintenance works in Abbey Road, near to the corner leading to the Avenue, in the week commencing 2nd December. This means that there will be 2-way traffic lights in place to control traffic. The works will be set up on Monday 2nd and are expected to last for the rest of the week.
A member of our Facilities team will be meeting with the contractors on Monday to ensure that risks to pupils entering and exiting the school site are minimized. We would also ask your support in ensuring pupil safety by being considerate to where you stop or park your vehicle; the works do mean that there will be no drop off/pick up for pupils from the school entrance and parking will be restricted in Abbey Road and The Avenue.
