Post 16 at Whitley Academy
There are many opportunities at Whitley Academy at the end of Year 11 and we encourage all students to stay and continue their education with us.
Whitley Academy is keen to offer you help and guidance to make the right choices - we can support you and your parents in deciding on your strengths and weaknesses so that your chosen Post 16 courses are right for you.
As an RSA Academy, our high expectations continue into Post 16, where students have access to high quality teaching and learning to enable them to achieve success. Emphasis is placed on high aspirations and excellent outcomes so that individuals proceed to higher education or a suitable training/work placement.
Students in Post 16 are supported and guided through their studies by high calibre staff. Recent Ofsted judgements are “good” and “improving”.

Student Finance for courses starting September 2012 is now available for you to apply online. It is important that students apply as soon as possible to ensure their money is available from the first day of their course. The link below can be used to get the Student Finance for England website.
