KS4/5 Options
Choosing the most appropriate pathways through Years 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 is a challenging and important task. Making the decision about which pathway is the most relevant and appropriate is a process that involves both students, parents and the school working closely together.
At the end of year 8 and 9, students are guided onto a learning pathway which meets their individual needs and future aspirations. This programme is designed to be relevant, challenging but within a student’s capability. All students are expected to take English, Maths and Science along with a vocational course. There are then academic and vocational options to extend and enrich learning.
In Y12 students can access a range of academic and vocational level 3. We offer a broad range of A level courses alongside BTEC level qualifications.
We work to ensure all our students can access nationally recognised training / learning opportunities or work at the age of 16 and 18.
